Topic #2: Pictures

Well, it seems it's common, to take pictures all throughout pregnancy. And if you know know you know I completely agree with that. But, I have a slight problem. Luckily, b/c of previous problems I was able to get ultrasound pictures at 7 weeks and 9 weeks. I thought I was going to get one at 12 weeks but instead we heard the baby's heart beat. Talk about a speedy sound. Sucker was going about 160 bmp! That's what I get to when I'm working out - when I worked out. :) Anyway - this top picture is the 7 week ultrasound (measured 5mm) and the bottom one is the 9 week (measured 25mm). Big difference, huh! You can't really tell a lot here but the baby's head is on the right. I circled the baby - and the crosses mark the baby's length, head to rump.

I do want to go get another ultrasound in the next couple of weeks at a private business but I haven't decided for sure. They can be expensive. I get my next medical one at about 20 weeks to determine the gender. I just have to decide if it's worth the money to get one earlier than that.

As for pictures of me - so far I only have this one. (Can you tell

a shorty took it? :) I will go today and get a disposable camera to take the official 13 week picture. Why, you ask? Because last week at the Dodger game my camera decided to malfunction. The lens no longer closes so it has decided it cannot take any pictures. And, becuase we bought it at CompUSA and CompUSA closed down all their CA stores, I have to mail it in to see if they will repair or replace the camera. So, the next couple of pictures will be taken on a disposable camera and won't be posted until I use up the roll of film. :( But, you do what you gotta do.
