4 months... officially!

Yep - yesterday Kayla turned 4 months old, officially. We're having so much fun with her... it just keeps getting better and better. And, as promised, I put her down in her crib tonight. Washed the sheets, put on the bumpers, said goodnight and laid her down... within a few minutes she was out cold. :) Last night she went to bed early - 7:15pm - and woke up early - 3am! I got her back down at 4:30 by putting her in bed with me for a few minutes... I love her sleeping with me but I can't get any sleep that way so it's best for her to be in her own bed. It's sweet though.

She is absolutely fascinated by daddy - she's quickly growing into the role of daddy's little girl. She stares at him all the time, smiles and laughs at him, and just plain loves him. She's obsessed with his goatee - she's always trying to grab it and feel it. It's all really cute to watch... except for that little jealous bone in my body. :)

In other news... my meetup.com group didn't work out so well. Turns out us working mom's are kind of busy. BUT I did meet one girl - Julie - who's son, Noah, is about a month older than Kayla. We've hung out a couple times and text all the time. It's good to have another young mom with a young baby to talk to. Today we went shopping and I found a bathing suit for Kayla, finally, and a dress that she'll wear for 4th of July and her 5 month pictures! This Friday we made plans to go walking - we both have more baby weight to lose. :) I think this friendship is going to work out quite nicely and I'm quite excited about it!

Alright - I need to go peak in to her crib for the 8th time in 20 minutes, fold A LOT of laundry, and do my new workout video - Jillian Michael's 30 day shred... by the time I see you I should be shredded. I uploaded her 4 month pictures that we had taken today. She just gets cuter all the time... we might go broke buying up these pictures every month!  Enjoy!
