... LOVES LOVES LOVES stickers! it's bordering on obsession. likes to put them on you, slap them to make sure they're really stuck, take them off, put them on herself, and throw them away.
... seriously enjoys coloring all over the patio with her chalk
... has found a new joy in climbing...on chairs, the couch, walls, her activity table, anything
... likes to stand on things, dvd cases, wipe boxes,
... likes to clean - using her wipes to clean off her tray, her crayon markings, her hands, her mouth... will actually go get them to clean off her crayon markings
... will grab the water hose and ask for "walo" (water)
... eats her toast from the inside out, not really caring for the crust.
... runs like there is no tomorrow - and doesn't always know how to stop
... likes to race people...doesn't want them beating her
... runs to Tyler's pack and play when she hears him cry or squeak
... can now turn off the "dining room" light (it's in quotes b/c it's no longer a dining room, it's her play area). We may never be able to turn it on again.
... has to push the lock on mommy's car door every time she passes it - 3 times at least!
... blows on her food if it's too hot
... knocks on the back door if I'm not there to open it for her on our way in from the car
... uses our garage door as her home base to run to for peek a boo or to sit and play be herself
... has found a new joy in throwing her toys
... is becoming a soccer player - loves to kick balls and balloons around
... is still a big fan of peek a boo - loves being scared when daddy jumps out.
... starts every day with yogurt and then asks for it another 467 times throughout the day.
... understands so incredibly much, and loves to show off her knowledge
... called Nana "nana" in a video call - first time she's called a grandparent by their name... I think Gammy might take a while, sorry!
... spins around to make herself dizzy
... wants to be "up" all the time - like her brother
... can complete shape puzzles by herself
... has progressed from whining all the time to screaming all the time. Her new favorite hobby.
... is becoming more interested in sesame street, though one day we only watched the introductory song, 87 times in a row.
... can say most of the ABC's, though you have to say the letter first, then she repeats it. Has some issues with some letters but most of them are understandable.
... likes to look at herself in the mirror, in pictures, and in videos. gets the biggest smile on her face.
... she's specific about her wants - she'll pull you where she wants you to walk, tell you up or down, points to where she wants you to draw, tells you to sit or get up, etc
... is very confident in what she says, but it's usually not in english.
... helps daddy with laundry, pushes the buttons on the machines and bring in the clean laundry.
... likes to do the hokey pokey, loves it when mommy and daddy do it with her.
... is getting used to being the big sister. She kisses her brother A LOT but jealousy also rears it's ugly head sometimes.
... is so much fun (and infuriating) to watch, play with, and laugh with. It's getting better all the time!
