We started out with a yummy crumb cake with eggs, bacon, and the Thanksgiving day parade in the morning (and of course our Thanksgiving Little People toys, thanks to Gammy)!
Kayla and I baked a Paula Dean Pumpkin Cheesecake. I've found that I need to get all the ingredients ready first so I'm not running around trying to find everything. So, now I have my very own cooking show in the kitchen!
But it makes it soooo much easier so we can pour and take pics without me losing my mind (completely).
I decided we'd eat Thanksgiving dinner as dinner so we had a little snack and watched some football before naptime....
Tyler decided to get in on the cooking action too!
Finally - we're ready!
Green beans with bacon, mashed potatoes, crescent rolls, and turkey and stuffing. Yummm |
Some more than others!
And it even took me 2 weeks to get this dang post done! And it wasn't even all that (probably b/c I procrastinated so long that by the time I wrote it I was just ready to be done with it!). But it gets the point across. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
How fun! Kate got a Little People Thanksgiving set this year too!
ReplyDeleteI love cooking for holiday meals...what I'm not crazy about is cleaning up though!
