My kids love the water. They will play in it for hours. My daughter however does not like to go underwater and is scared to death of the shower. So when went to a splash pad earlier this week and I saw her running through a water misters that looked like car wash (not pictured, unfortunately) I was so proud of her. She played, she watched, she thought, then she said "I can do this!" and she did! They both had a ton of fun, but it was that moment that sticks out for me the most. No one asked her to, no one pushed her, nothing. She just did it and you know it takes a lot of courage to do something you're not comfortable with. So, yea, I had a little mommy moment when my heart skipped a beat and I thought "Way to be brave, Kayla!".
