The Great T-Shirt Quilt

So, I just want to do a shout out to my grandmother. This Christmas she gave me the T-Shirt quilt that I've been asking for - made out of the drill team shirts I wore in high school. I was so impressed and excited that I thought I'd post pictures for all of you to see.


She even had Grandpa Bob print out drill team pictures and she ironed them on. Very cute idea!

I was glad this next T-shirt got included - it was out contest shirt that showed where we competed and what we competed in. This year of drill team was so much fun - and it ended with Disney World and lots of awards- can't get much better than that.

And, I was really impressed that Grandma sewed these panther heads all over the quilt, along with some paws but I just thought the heads took the cake.

Anyway, I hope you're all as impressed as I was. I'm so grateful that she was willing and able to make this for me. Drill team was a lifetime ago it seems but it was the best part of high school for me so I'm glad I have this to remind me of the great times.
