My quirky 6 month old

...Likes to put things on top of her head

...creeps over to get a toy then, once she's got it, rolls over to her back to play with it

...likes shiny things - necklace, screw, door knob, my ring (thank you Eric!)...

...loves the little baby in the mirror

...sleeps with her nose against something, and if she's in her crib she gravitates toward the corner

...likes to bounce in your lap, but not in her bouncer so much

...can navigate the bottle to her mouth but has no interest in holding it there

...grabs whatever is in front of her whenever she wakes up

...will grab whatever toy you hold out in front of her, dropping the one she just picked up

...totally looks like she just passed out whenever she's asleep

...likes to lean forward and put her foot in her mouth but won't put her foot in her mouth when she's laying on her back - that's when she just likes to hold it.

...wants whatever food you're eating but still isn't sold 100% on her own food (can you blame her?)

...can be sitting, fall over (either forwards or backwards) and totally look like she meant to do that

...is starting to cry when we leave the room (separation anxiety a little early?)

...doesn't really care for you reading to her but loves to be sung to

...can't clap yet but when you sing "if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands" and try to clap her hands for her, will at least open them but then she kind of entwines them so it's hard to actually clap

...makes faces at food

...holds still (for the most part) when we try to give her hugs or Eskimo kisses

...does not like getting dressed for bed

...likes to look at the person not holding her

...likes to hit books and the keys on the keyboard (don't we all, sometimes)

...has 2 little teeth in the bottom that's she's figured out she can use to bite with

...weighs 18 lbs! (I'll provide more stats on Monday, the only thing I know now is the weight!)

...can absolutely light up your world when she smiles at you
