I'm 1 !!!

I have no idea if that's true or not, but mama keeps saying that it's my first birthday so I'm going with it.  She'd never lie to me right?  She said we were celebrating today and tomorrow!  How cool is that!!!

And look!  They made an announcement in the local paper. 

And we got to go take my 1 year pictures.  I've been going to the same place every month so I know the drill.  Mommy loved the pictures so much she bought more than she planned.  Daddy isn't a fan of the ones where I don't have a shirt on but those are mommy's favorites.  I think I'm cute no matter what!  What do you think?
 
 

After I did my duties as the smiling birthday girl mommy and daddy took me to Chick Fil A for my birthday dinner.  I know, so not fancy, but it's a lot of fun for me to play around in their kids area and mommy likes their kids place mats and yummy food!  When we got home they gave me my birthday present - a brand new red wagon! 

 
The next day I woke up all excited this morning because mommy said today was my birthday party.  I remember last month's birthday party and if today's anything like last time I'm in for a real treat!  This time though, instead of being at our house it's at a super cool place called John's Incredible Pizza!  Mama didn't want to entertain a bunch of kids in our small place so we outsourced.  :-)  We had so much fun eating lots of pizza (I think I ate too much pizza because I didn't have room for cake!) and playing games and opening presents.  My friends are so cool.

Then we got to go run around and play.  Since I've only taken a few steps on my own I had to have some help but I still had fun with my friends.

I can't play video games so I played around in the toddler area and had a lot of fun on the slides.

Wonder what fun and exciting things mama will plan for next year!  These do happen every year right???
