Keeping Busy with Grandad and Granny!

A couple weeks ago Granny and Grandad visited (I'm way behind in posts, I know!) and Kayla and Tyler had so much fun with them! (Mom was here too - we all had fun!). Mom had warned them that it might take a while for Kayla to warm up to them but when they walked in she went right up to them and wanted to play. (I had just shown her pictures of them and said they would be here to play with her... I guess she got the point.)


Anyway, in the first few minutes she was reading with them and playing ring around the rosey!

I knew they would enjoy seeing her at gymnastics (and she loves going!)

Granny helped her color while Nana put Tyler to sleep!

 

Kayla very much wanted Nana's help on some of the activities - and who was I to stop that!

 

And Grandad helped Kayla eat her (very nutritious) lunch - pizza and cupcakes!

That evening they just happened to be all sitting on the couch (really, I promise I didn't put them all there!) so we snapped group shot!

Before Tyler's 2 month pics the next day we had some fun in the children's section of the library!

And after lunch Kayla tried out the carousel in the food court. She sat on a moving horse for the first time - and surprisingly didn't seem to mind (or maybe didn't notice).

Kayla LOVES it when her family visits!  They all spoil her and she has so much fun playing with them!

Grandad really seemed to bond with Mr. Tyler. 

Grandad spent a lot of time talking with, playing with, holding, rocking, and singing to him. 

I love that all of their Great Grandparents are willing and able to be such fantastic Great Grandparents to my littles!  We are really very blessed!
