Who needs toys!

I knew that babies were happy with just about anything. I was also told that even the toys you buy them will only be used for a couple of months. I even joked about giving my child only boxes at Christmas. But, alas, here came Kayla and there went the money on the toys. I don't think I've overdone it - my mom does though. But she has a small bucket of toys, mostly plastic rings, a bouncer, a rolling snail, and a big plastic ball - that's the extent of her toys. So, either I was smart not to buy too much, or she's so bored with her own toys that she has to resort to using other household items... or she's like every other child who can be perfectly happy with the stupidest items they find.
