...started at approximately 2pm due to Nana's delayed flight because of Dallas's first Christmas Eve/Christmas Day snow and ice
...came complete with Kayla's 1st Christmas coveralls, a homemade stocking, 3 Baby's 1st Christmas ornaments, and a homemade red and green hat and scarf
...did not come with the first steps I thought might happen, but she is getting better at standing on her own
...included approximately 18 toys (including a magnetic board, a baby walkman, a walk and ride, a stacker, a Lizzy Dripping doll, a safari roller, a set of Russian nesting dolls, and 20 hand puppets) and she has almost 10 boxes left under the tree that we are saving for her "almost 1" birthday party.
...rounded out her closet with several new outfits from the ladies in the family
...was spent with Mama, Dada, Nana, Gammy, and Uncle Jack
... was a California Christmas at a cool 65 degrees!
...went so slow because she would tear off one piece of wrapping paper and then get fascinated with it and not be interested in the rest of the paper or the box or the toy.
... was chaotic the way all future Christmas's will be.
...ended with Dada sleeping, Kayla relaxing, Jack reading a book, and Nana, Gammy, and Mama watching tv!
... was absolutely perfect! It was so much fun, and crazy, and loving, and exciting!
