According to the hospital scale I gained less than 30 lbs with this pregnancy - about 12 lbs less than with Kayla! Yay! But...
- I feel bigger
- I'm pretty sure I look bigger
- I've been MUCH more uncomfortable for the last 6 weeks or so, and it seems to get worse every day.
- I got sciatica with this one along with some pretty bad shin splints so I had to stop exercising at the beginning of May.
- I got the worse stretchmarks you've ever seen all over my whole belly. ughhh
- I have trouble getting up and moving after sitting or laying for more than a few minutes.
- The end weight is the same because I hadn't lost that last 10-12 lbs that I had gained with Kayla.
- My maternity clothes are tighter this time than they were with Kayla... to the point where some of them no longer cover the bottom of my belly... oops.
- That last point could be because I am carrying differently - all belly - no major differences anywhere else. With Kayla I was more round.
- I waddle. Yep. I'm that big pregnant lady you see waddling in and out of stores... very slowly.
But...
- I'm pretty lucky to have pretty easy pregnancies... no gestational diabetes, no swelling, no preeclampsia, no high blood pressure. You can't complain about discomfort much (even if I do) when, medically, you're in great shape.
- I'm still able to hold my little girl (for short periods of time).
What more could you ask for?
