So, as I've said before Kayla is learning new words every day. You can ask her to say something and she can usually say it - not always but she at least tries. It's really cute to watch and a lot of fun to listen to. A few weeks ago she started in on some new fun stuff. I started this post a month ago and never got around to posting it. So, this is old information and she's on to much cooler stuff now but it's still fun to document.
When she poops she says "pee you, cocky". One day she grabbed her Dora doll and said "pee you, Dora" and went to go change her diaper. So cute. She says "pee you, cocky" all the time. (Yes, I keep changing the spelling of the name she calls herself. Cocky is bad but it's what she says. I prefer to write kakhi but that's not what she says, so I guess I'm going with cocky".
While we were in TX California was drenched and so was her sandbox even with the lid on it. So, when she wanted to play in it I explained that the sun had to dry off the sand and her toys. For a few days after that she would hold out a toy and say "sun. dry". She picks up on things so well! So fast!
I have some red heels that she's liked to walk around in before. But, after we got back from Texas she put them on and said she was going to a party, in the kitchen, for nana. Not sure if she was talking about Savannah or Nana. Either way, it's cute.
She's recently figured out how funny she is and is constantly saying "I funny" and then laughing like crazy. It's fun to watch.
When I ask her to make Tyler laugh she says "Tato wabi, tato, he he he he." Everytime. Every. Time.
And there are still a lot of words that she says incorrectly, but it's oh so cute.
babas = blueberries
boons = baloons
sanks = thanks
lellow = yellow
neckie = necklace
cones = crayons
fop fops = flip flops
ban bans = band-aids
fapi no faping = swiper, no swiping
supo = syrup
rainrains = raisins
puter = computer (also says little puter and big puter since we got the new/larger laptop)
poon = spoon
plastic = chapstic
fapi the box = swiper the fox
And new in the last week - she says her name! Yay! Forever it's been this horrible "cocky" word but one day at IHOP the waitress said she was a doll and I asked her if she was a doll and she said "No, no doll, Kayla". Yay! And something clicked because she then also said colors (instead of something to the effect of cucu's) and kelly (instead of tacky).
There's a million more fun phrases, and she picks up on things so quickly now, but these are the ones that made me laugh when I started this post back in February.
